I understand 😂. Was at a Chinese restaurant, with a group of men and it was so interesting, how they already added the tip to our bil; and this time it was even 25 percent of each item bought. I think this particular one is extreme.

However, I do think people should get good tip, as much as one gives to charity. Really, charities get so much money from many other organizations they partner with; and an employee only gets paid by one person; 😀😀😅.

I hope you get my drift?

Haha 😀. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment! I agree but good is relative. How much tip will you define as good?

It surprises me. Especially with the restaurants that set up ridiculous policies on tipping. Good one Tobi

Beautifully written.

I have always been surprised about this entitlement by some service in the US. This article just gave me a clearer picture.

Thanks Tobi.

This is not good at all. I would like to ask about the reaction of African immigrants to this culture from your experience.

I agree, Olajide. From my experience, some African immigrants have a 'special' policy regarding this tipping culture. If the total bill spent is less than $20, they happily tip 20%. If it is more than $20, then they may reconsider.
